Subject: Stephen Frerichs

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Stephen Frerichs will be joining the Rain and Hail team as a consultant beginning January 1, 2003.

Given the ongoing importance of building and maintaining relationships in Washington, D.C., Stephen’s past experience will serve Rain and Hail well. Prior to forming his consulting company, AgVantage LLC, Stephen was with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) where he focused on crop and agricultural insurance issues. More recently he was manager of the American Association of Crop Insurers in Washington, D.C., where he actively lobbied both Congress and the Administration on behalf of crop insurance companies and agents.

In addition to helping represent Rain and Hail in Washington, Stephen will also help broaden Rain and Hail’s influence and contact with other agribusiness groups throughout the country.

Many of us have had the opportunity to know and work with Stephen for a number of years and we are excited to have him join our team and look forward to the contributions he will make.
