New Chairman of the Board
Rain and Hail Insurance Service, Inc.

We are pleased to announce that Steven C. Harms has recently been named Chairman of the Board and President of Rain and Hail Insurance Service, Inc by the Board of Directors effective March 17, 2005.

Steve most recently served as our President while the Chairman of Board position was held by the since retired John H. Joyce. Steve and all of the other members of Rain and Hail wish John and his wife Helen a long and fulfilling retirement.

Steve began his career with Rain and Hail as an adjuster in 1973 and has since contributed to the success of Rain and Hail by holding many different positions throughout his career such as Field Supervisor, Claims/Quality Control Manager, Division Manager, Executive Vice President and President.

Steve has been a member of many industry shaping committees and visionary groups during his time with Rain and Hail and has proven to be a leader that can be depended upon within the agriculture insurance world. We are all excited to enter a new era of leadership with the same values and priorities that have served Rain and Hail and its valued customers since 1919.
